I timed it just right and finished Play Dead last night (Halloween). Tonight I start Crippen by John Boyne (about a celebrated murder case in Edwardian England), and then I start trying to find some Xmassy stuff
Just started Little Bee by Chris Cleave for my book club. I do a lot of my reading on the recumbant bike and eliptical and those books have to be page turners so tend to be easy reads. Don't know if this will qualify or not. I'll let you know.
Right now I have a bunch of books going. I'm still working on Paradise Lost and the Stephanie Plum series (up to book six). Also reading Alcatraz Versus the Evil Librarians and just started A Grimm Legacy this morning. Last two are middle school books though.
Currently reading Les Misérables. I read it once years ago, and have seen the musical seven times, so I thought I'd plough through the book again. It's hard going at times, but once you get through all the tedious social commentary, the actual story is good.
I have this book but not yet read it, is it worth the time?
Eh, it was okay. The lead character had an annoying tic (kept repeating a certain phrase over and over) made her sound developmentally disabled. I finished it, but man, it was no Other Boleyn Girl!
i'm currently reading "The Sociopath Next Door"(pre-law student, don't judge me! Next on the docket is "Safe Haven" - the newest Nicholas Sparks! oh, and loooooots of textbooks! lol
