Talking Clothing item you want to have fit again!

Does anyone have a motivation item of clothing that used to fit that you've kept as a "someday I'lll get into that" item? Since we're all here, we're working on getting into those, I'd love to know what those clothing items are.

For me, its a denim pencil skirt. It was cheap and probably isn't even as nice as I remember, but I've carried it around with me for 5 years since it fit last! I can't wait until I can wear it again!

Cool

I have a green suede jacket gathering dust in the closet that I haven't been able to wear for about 9 years. I've given up hope, though, for the Gloria Vanderbilt jeans I've had packed away since about 1980.

A pair of jeans... Also not expensive but it was from a time where I was smaller (but even then they were really tight). I would like to wear them and have wiggle room this time.

I'll just be happy when I can wear a fitted shirt without obvious backfat making an appearance.

Morbid maybe. And hopelessly out of style. A black skirt suit with pink lapels that I bought to wear to my mother's funeral 7 years ago.

And the little shorts I was wearing when my SO saw me for the 1st time. Size 14 but little compared to today!

I have a pair of pants, nothing real fashionable, I just have never fit into them as nicely as I wanted to. For a while i couldn't even get them on, then I could get them on but not closed. Now I can get them on and closed but they look pretty gross. I bought these before I had my first son, they were my goal when I got derailed from weight loss when I got pregnant with my second son, and now I am bound and determined to put them on and look good in them, and soon (well, relatively!). Good luck to all on getting to your goals!

A pair of jeans. I bought them after senior year as I was gaining weight b/c I was recovering from an eating disorder. I spent $70 on them and thought "surely having spent that much money on a pair of jeans will ensure that I stay this size forever! I love being this size."

But then college happened ... I haven't worn those jeans in 4 years I still carry them around with me everywhere, even though I've since parted ways with my old size 3s.

Just one item? I have an entire closet full of cute clothes that I can't wear! I have very awesome perfect jeans that make me look so much thinner than I am (when I can fit into them, that is), a black and white summer dress that shows off a small waist, great wide leg pants from my favorite store (Anthropologie), etc.....the list goes on and on. The point is, I can't WAIT to be able to wear all of these clothes. I remember how good it feels to slip them on without having to hold my breath to button them. It makes me feel so light and free! Oh man do I want this!!!! I want it now!!!!!!!

I have a pair of jeans that I absolutely love - they fit me so well, and were just starting to get loose when I took a swan dive off the wagon and gained a lot back. So annoying.

Anyway, I've kept them knowing full well I'd wear them again someday. I hope it's sooner rather than later.

I also kept a couple of short waisted blazers that I love that got too small. Can't wait to get into those again either.

I have already blown past all my "old - I can't wait to wear this someday" clothes!!!

I have a pair of size 6 jeans tucked away in the bottom of my drawer that I attempt to try on every few weeks haha. I can get them past my knees now! It's only a matter of time .

most of what i have i can now fit. even my corset is a perfect fit (which for those of you who have one, know the stays shouldn't meet all the way down with slack). I guess my next clothing related goal is to not only fit the full range of size 16s, but to fit perfectly into a 14 or, dare i say it, a 12 by the time spring rolls around.
