Default So Glad I Found You Guys!

I am back to calorie counting after a brief foray with Weight Watchers points. To make a long story short, I don't like how they figure them - higher points for healthy fats, lower points for processed foods with fake fiber added. It didn't make sense. Calories make sense!

I am making a fresh start tomorrow, dusting out some old books I have, particularly one called Eucalorics that I bought a few years ago.

Glad to meet you all!

I was in the same boat!!! I tried Weight Watchers again and again but kept giving up because either I was:
1) sick of attending meetings
2) annoyed with the whole points system
3) disgusted by their endorsement of prepackaged highly processed snacks (I honestly thought it was ok to eat the 1-2 point snacks on a daily basis until I finally looked at the ingredients)

Calorie counting is much more straight forward and simple...plus, it's FREE! I've only been calorie counting for 2 1/2 months but I finally feel like this is something I can stick to.

I can tell you that calorie counting does work! And unfortunately, whenever I abandon calorie counting, my weight heads in the wrong direction. I really believe in counting calories.
