Today I said no to fast food! Well, I actually have been saying no to fast food for about a week now. I'm at the beginning of my "get fit and healthy" plan (which isn't really a defined plan--yet), and the first thing I've done is cut out restaurant/fast food meals. I'm a busy student, so I've probably eaten out more than I've cooked for myself the past 2 years (if not longer). I never really thought my fast food habits were that terrible...but credit card statements don't lie!! I've finally decided to take the time everyday to do something for myself--something for my health--cooking/eating meals at home!! It's been a fun adventure, because I have a lot of cooking skills that still need to be developed
But I think my body is much happier this way, and my checking account will be, too!!
I'm sure saying "no" will get easier as time goes on...but hopefully I'll never lose the sense of accomplishment I feel when I conquer my cravings!
