I wish there was a menu I could follow exactly to lose weight, you know? But I know it is not that easy. I do, however, try to eat a lot of the same foods. I think it keeps me from going crazy with the eating.
I am a teacher, so I pack my food for first thing in the morning until 4:00. Basically, I then know how many calories I have "left" for supper. I also allow myself a small evening snack. Keeps me from raiding the chocolate or cashews or POTATO CHIPS
I like this type of automated eating. I am new to the calorie counting. I teach summer school so I am getting a head start for my school year.
Feeling seriously in charge of my body. Usually my "diets" fizzle in less than a week. I have already exercised more this week than I usually do in two-three weeks. I am not really moving at high speed yet, but you have to start somewhere.
I find I am motivated by gadgets...this site, my Ipod, my heart rate monitor!! Whatever it takes....oh! forgot my scale and my trusty tape measure.
