Default Hello...New Fat Chick Here

I have been battling with my weight for the past 5 years. In April, I finally started doing something about it. I have lost 13 lbs by eating a largely raw food diet (with cheats here and there). I just wanted to come to a place where I don't feel so alone in my weight loss journey. Hopefully, I have found the right place!

Hello girls. I am a new fat chick. I have yo yo'ed my whole life my largest being 315 and then down to 230 (that felt great) and now I am at 290 so you can imagine how crappy I feel. I am getting married in 9 months and I am horrified at the prospect of even stepping foot in a bridal salon. I feel like my wedding can be great motivation but can I really get to a comfortable weight by then? I wouldn't mind being 230, shoot, that's 60 lbs. I do have the help of a physiologist that weighs me each week and takes my bodyfat, bmi, etc and writes me a menu for the week. I just thought this site would be great and I don't feel so alone.

Default New Fat Girl 2

Hi everyone. I am new to this site. My highest weight was 315 and then I got all the way down to 230 but now after 5 years I am back up to 290 so you can imagine how crappy I feel.
I am getting married in 9 months and I am hoping to be down 60 pounds by then, if not more. Just want to be at a comfortable weight. This looks like a good site for support and also I dont' feel so alone. Wish me luck.
BTW... how do you get one of those progress bars?
