Default new calorie counter - want to lose the weight for good

Hi everyone,

I've lost and gained the same weight all throughout college and grad school. Thought things would get better during my first year out in the real world with my first grown up job - but I actually just gained more from all the bad stress eating habits I picked up in school

I've tried several different diet plans and calorie counting seems to click for me so I hope I can be successful and maintain. I'm getting married next May and hope to be at goal by then - that might be a little over ambitious but that's okay I need the motivation!

Glad to be here

Glad to see you here! I think that calorie counting is probably THE easiest of all the "diet" plans because what food item at the grocery store doesn't have its nutritional information already listed on the label? You know what range you have to work with, so you stop eating once you've ate all of your daily calories. Good luck

Hey, good luck with your weight loss journey.

I`m also getting married next may

I`m hoping to start looking for my dress in sep, when I`ve lost some weight.

I`m counting calories, and trying to up my protein, cause I`m a real carb girl!

Take care
