Default Can someone help me with the zig zagging

I went to the site freedieting and put my info in. Are the results that I got for maintaining your weight or losing weight? I'm not sure how many calories I need to be eating to lose weight. Thanks in advance.

There should be 3 columns extreme fat loss, fat loss and maitenance. You then have to click the line that says something about 7 day cycle and that will give you your zig zag schedule. Hope this helps.

Thanks. That does help. The calories just seemed to be alittle high for weight loss. But, if that's what it is, I'll be glad to eat that many calories..LOL

Yep, I thought they were way high too. So I just use 3xs a week for my exercise even though I do 5x and round down to the nearest 50 cals and it has been working beautifully. I am losing more at a 1650 daily average than I was only eating 1300-1500, go figure. I really feel like this calorie level in addition to eating 6xs a day is really keeping my metabolism at an optimum level and I'm not running around like a crazy hungry person.

I just discovered a free on-line website that charts calories, suggests targets, and shows everything ~ About.com's "calorie count"
http://caloriecount.about.com/ and am finding the first time in my life that calorie counting makes sense, and the charts are just all so easy to see the calories in and out. Try it?

Oops, I see that 'zig-zagging' might be a feature to the site you started. Just ignore my suggestion of an additional/alternate website. Good luck!

I posted about the exact same thing and got some wonderful advice.
First, try it out for a week or so...just to see how your body handles it.
Second, after trying it out, take away 300 calories from it and see how it goes.

Well..I fell off the wagon half way through and quit logging my calories..but I did stay the same weight. So now I'm changing it up. I walked half a mile yesterday and .7 of a mile as of right now but I also have some walking to do later today as well.

Everyone reacts differently....so see what your body responds to and go from there

Thanks for the advice. The info I put in was for little/no excersise/desk job because that's what I do and I've just started to add some walking. My lowest calories a day is 1544. I will try it and see how it goes. I know I can't stick to a 1200 calorie all the time...lol

Here is what mine says.

Monday - 1544
Tuesday - 1544
Wednesday - 1853
Thursday - 1544
Friday - 1544
Saturday - 1699
Sunday - 1544

Does this sound like it will work?
