I have spent the last month bouncing up and down by a couple of pounds. It took me awhile to wrap my head around the fact that I needed to change what I was doing, well, tweak it at least.
I tried to drop my calories by 200 and increase my workout time when I was in the pool. That did not work for me at all. So I tried dropping my calories by 100 per day and then working out for 30 mintues on my off days from the pool. It hasn't been a week yet--just started on Monday, but I think this is going to work. I see my weight going down each day (by mere ounces but we all know it will add up by the end of the week right?). I feel content. I am feeling less exhausted and slightly more energetic. I am also more faithful with my food log therefore I'm tracking better.
A less extreme change, but more consistency apparently is what is working for me.
Just wanted to share what is working for me. I'm feeling so encouraged and hope this inspires someone else out there who may be feeling down.
