I use a memory foam pillow and love it - haven't used the mattress topper.

Wow! That's my story!!! Our mattress was great until I lost weight! We picked up a sleep innovations mattress at Costco and it is FABULOUS! My husband loves it and I love it!

I have a memory foam pillow that I love. It's a cheap one and I'm definitely thinking of splurging on a more expensive one. My bf has a more expensive one and he loves it. I like his better than mine, but $70 for a pillow is hard to swallow!

I'm tempted to get the pillow, but the one i want is $148 (of COURSE it is!) ack that's outrageous, but I guess a good night's sleep is priceless (or in this case....$148...)

I got a memory foam pillow free with my new mattress (that's what you get for spending several thousand dollars on a mattress) and I love it. It gets hard in the winter, so we have to turn the heat up a bit, but I find it super comfortable.
My Sweetie doesn't like it, but it just means that he doesn't steal my pillow. His is too soft for my tastes, so it works out all around.

I have the memory foam pillow and love it. My roommate has a memory foam mattress topper and I find it really weird. I havne't slept in it, just tried it out when she first got it. It's hard to like turn over and stuff-there's no buoyancy! lol you just sink in. But, like I said I haven't slept on it. I'm sure it's wonderful when you get used to it.

for the past three years, i lived in a dorm, which the same mattresses they use in federal prisons...needless to say, it was hard as a rock. my memory foam saved my life and my back. now, my memory foam is ontop of the pillow-top mattress i sleep on and its complete heaven. i love my bed....

Me too! I sleep on a mattress almost older than I am (inherited from my parents) and it is really broken down. Several years ago I got a memory topper and it has made the mattress usable for all these years. I love how firm and soft it is at the same time.

Ach! My boyfriend's bed was super cheap (was only intended to last him a couple years anyway) and is very broken down now. He went out and bought a 4" memory foam topper, and it was SUPER weird at first. But now? It's fabulous to sleep on! No more backaches and I find myself waking up in the same position I fell asleep in. I think it makes it harder to toss and turn since you're sort of sucked into the thing. I still love it though. No idea what will happen to it when he moves down here in the summer (it's too small for my bed).
