Yeah, I'm wondering if it's because my metabolism has slowed down, making it harder for me to lose weight. But then that makes me sad, because it means I'm getting old. Haha.
When I was working, my diet was unhealthy, but that was 6 months ago, and mirrored my long-term unhappy relationship (Sorry, the psych major in me rears its ugly head). However, since I've returned to Canada and prior to that, my food choices have been relatively healthy. It has never REALLY been an issue. If someone tells me not to eat it, then I don't. I eat lots of vegetables and fruits, no sodas (except for the rare diet Coke), and lean meat. I don't smoke. I drink socially, but never to the point of inebriation.
My vices might be coffee (skim milk, no sugar) and rice/pasta (but in small portions).
So now I just try to make good decisions, and make sure I work up a sweat at least 5 days a week from 30-60 min per session.
Thanks for the responses so far!
