I am considering eating calories closer to 1300 which is my goal derived from calculators and then rounded down for ease of use. It was a stab in trying to determine my burn number. I have 2 more social functions this week- tonight in my home and tomorrow night in a friends home. Plus my estimation of calories for random items is still a bit fuzzy, so I will stay in a holding pattern until Monday when the parties slow down for a while. I think I was saving calories in anticipation of this past week, not knowing what to expect from both me and the events. My weekly range over a 9 week span is from 1118-1285 which surprised me. I really thought it was closer to 1300.

I do not want to stall my weight loss, while at the same time there is some discussion of a few more calories causing a faster weight loss. I have time to figure this out. And daily weighing and calorie counting is a huge help.

And I haven't felt starved, tired, hair loss (in fact DH thought my hair felt better), snappy, grumpy or anything else associated with starvation mode. I do light weights with my arms 4x/week.

Comments appreciated.
