Default Whoa! Who just chose broccoli as a snack?

Uh...that would be me! LOL!

I missed my 3:00 snack, so here it is 5:00 PM and I've only consumed 600 calories. I am starving! Since I have a surplus of calories coming to me, I told DH to go ahead and order pizza! I can have about 1.5 slices for 400 calories with wiggle room and if I slice the full piece in half, that feels like 3 pieces.

But I used the wiggle room up with broccoli! I am so hungry that it's either crash in my pantry on crap until the pizza gets here, or eat some filling broccoli. Yeah me!

You go girl! I remember the first time I took broccoli as a snack to work, I was so proud of myself. Proud of you, too!

LOL! The funny thing is, I like broccoli. But I've never had it as a snack. It's always been a side dish with dinner. My tummy doesn't like it raw, so I have to cook it. I think that's what's odd. I chose to cook up some broccoli rather than grab chips or something.

That isn't odd at all. I sometimes cook up broccoli to eat as a snack. I enjoy it hot with a teaspoon of butter and you are right that it is better then eating chips.

To me broccoli is great cooked and raw but I rarely remember to have it as a snack! You've inspired me to do so today
