Valentines Day is exatly 14 weeks and 4 days from today...and I was thinking about maybe challenging myself to lose a certain amount of weight by then. I know there is already a New Years Challenge going on, but it's easier for me to work on longer term goals...PLUS, one of the big reasons I'm trying to lose weight is that I want to make my bf feel like he's got the most amazing gf in the world...I want him to be proud to be with me and to be attracted to me physically, not just mentally...and if I lost a significant amount of weight by Valentines Day I might be comfortable wearing a sexy dress and some heels and going out on a real date instead of just wearing sweats and going to a movie...
SO, since there's about 14 weeks until V-Day, I'd like to try and make it to 179 or below by then...which would be a loss of 26 or more pounds AND would put me SO CLOSE to goal!!!

I would love to join you on this challenge. And I agree, long term goals are a little bit more doable for me. I don't have a boyfriend or anything, but I'd still love to be sexy on valentines day!
I'm gonna say 25 pounds for me by valentines...which would put me at 186.

I would love to join a VDay challenge. Looking sexier on Valentine's Day would be awesome. I want to wear a really cute dress. I'm going to set my goal for 15 pounds. That should put me around 145, which is very close to my lowest adult weight(142). Yay!

I'm in! I'm shooting for 1 lb/week at the moment, so let's say 15 lbs by Valentine's Day. That would put me at 147, 1 lb lower than my lowest adult weight!
I've been lax with my calorie counting this past week (and I know I've binged at least twice), so maybe this will be exactly what is needed to motivate me. I'm at about 205 right now, and aiming for 195 by the New Year, so another ten pounds on top of that is ambitious but doable. 185, here I come!
I've been joining a million challenges this week lol. I'm in! I want to be 172lb or lower by V-Day for me and my boyfriend's 6 month anniversary! That will be 50lbs down from my starting weight!!!

12.23.09 - WELL, my boyfriend dumped me because I "wasn't worth the effort" and I was "last on his list of priorities" SOOOO that's a bust. But I still want to be hot on V-day! I'm actually close to 169 now, so maybe I'll make my goal before V-day!
1.03.10 - I beat my goal! Now I'm going for 159 or lower by V-day!

I am in! I have had a crazy past few months and have dealt with that by going back to my old habits. But I dont want to undo all of my hard work - hopefully this will keep me on track!
I am going to say 15 pounds by valentines, which will put me at 152 - which I havent been since probably grade 7.
I'm in!! But I'm not setting too high a goal, I want to be below 220s, so if I lose at a rate of 1.5 lbs per week that's about 20 lbs from where I am now I'd be at 213 come valentines. Here goes, good luck all
I would love to join! I'm working on the last 10-15 lbs or so, so weight loss is going to be slow for me. However, I would really like to be 120-115ish by then (goal). I kinda have an strange new obsession with lingerie (I never used to when I was bigger, but now, I can't get over what I look like, so I wanna see myself in all sorts of new, sexy stuff). So, I could definitely see a new outfit for V-day.
By the way, I know what it feels like to not feel pretty/thin enough for your significant other (I always weighed WAY more than my husband- always). However, I am sure that your boyfriend thinks you are stunning, regardless of your weight. I mean, look at your avatar... you are a BEAUTIFUL woman! seriously.

SO, I weighed in this morning at 207...which I was expecting because I've been in the hospital with my mom who had surgery...and the food there was absolutely terrible. You'd think that in a hospital, they'd have food that was good for you...lol.
ANYWAYS. I don't think I'm really going to count it...I'm not changing my slider or anything, and when people ask I'm gonna say 205. I think if I stay OP and drink lots of water...those 2 lbs will probably come back off pretty quickly.
so, as of right now it's 28 lbs to my v-day goal...but even if I just lost 17 I'd be happy...lol....maybe 18, just to get out of the 190s...haha.
I've had 1 good day so far! Hehe That's a good start. No major plans for the rest of the week (other than surviving the airport food today). So it should be a successful week as long as I don't cheat.
