I eat a lot of Chicken. I try to stay away from red meat and only eat it about twice a week. I don't really like fish but I will eat Tuna and Salmon. I was wondering is their a healthy recipe for Salmon Patties. Is that a healthy meal. I hear all fish is good for you and the can I go says it has Omega 3 in it.

Good morning, I'm with you Kayhm! I'd like to get more fish in my diet too but don't know much to do with it. I've heard tilapia is the way to go for the no-fishy taste. I eat tuna and I think scrod. I'd love if someone would post a cool recipe that involves putting fish and herbs in a foil packet, bake and boom, dinner done.
Any recipes for any edible yummy fish would be appreciated by me too!

I have been working on adding fish to my diet too. I have two basic ways of cooking it that I like. My son-in-law cooked tilapia that we all loved, so I stole his cooking method. I get fresh tilapia, rinse it and pat it dry. Sprinkle Emeril's Essence Seasoning on it and drop into a hot skillet. It does not even need any oil. I cook about 6 minutes on each side. DH likes fish spicier than I do so I just put more seasoning on his than I do on mine. You can't get easier than this.
I bake catfish fillets in the oven. Once again, I rinse it and pat it dry. I make a topping by melting a little butter and stirring some herb dressing mix into the butter. I usually use Pepper ridge Farm but Stovetop works. Sprinkle the topping on the fish and bake. The topping just adds some flavor and crunch to the fish. I have to be careful to weigh and measure the butter and dressing because I could easily add more calories than I want.
I hope this helps.

I haven't tried it, but I read a recipe somewhere with using panko crumbs to lightly bread fish and then baking it? I'll see if I can find it.

If you're looking for a less fishy taste you may want to go with halibut, mahi mahi, or tuna. Personally I do not eat tilapia - it's a bottom feeder fish and lord knows he'll eat whatever he can get ahold of...
Tuesday nights is fish night, I'm making salmon en papillot (salmon baked in parchment. It's very simple. Rub the fish with a little bit of olive oil, salt/pepper, and fresh dill. Place thin lemon slices on top and wrap it up in parchment paper. Place on a baking sheet and cook in the oven about 12 minutes on 350, or until desired doneness. I'm serving mine with wild rice and steamed broccoli.
There's so many things you can do with fish:
Wasabe Tuna - Season a filet of tuna with salt/pepper. Brush on wasabi. Roll on some sesame seeds and sear the tuna on all sides. It's ready to eat when it's medium rare but if you want it more cooked than that simply place in the oven until it's done cooking.
