Hello Everyone
Hello! I'm 20 years old and right now taking a holistic health class. Our main project is to chose something unhealthy about ourselves and improve upon it. My project goal is to take my current BMI from 34.1 and lower it to 27.89. By doing so I will be lowering my weight from 237 down to 200. I know that that doesn't put me at a healthy weight but I have to start somewhere and my class ends Dec. 3rd.
I own the Wii fit and I'm thinking of using it as well as palates to help lower my weight. I'm also counting my calories which has already been very enlightening, I cant believe how many calories are in some foods! I'm sure from just restricting my calories I will make fast improvements but I also would like to tone up my body.
The past two years of my life I have been terrible to my body and I know I need to change my way of life. At age 18 I weighed 150 lbs. and was 2nd runner up for my towns beauty queen contest. Now looking at what I've become I can't believe that use to be me! Photos from my pageant days are what motivate me most right now. I know I can get back down to that size again! Anyone with any tips, I'd love to hear them!
