My Happy Scale
Hehe, had to share a humorous story with you ladies and gents this afternoon.
I go to Weightwatchers, where I get weighed every Tuesday evening, and that is my official weight, the one that goes onto my ticker and the one I consider myself to be.
However, I have a set of scales at home, which I use to weigh myself as well, to check where I'm going. Now I've noticed that this scale is a bit lower than my actual weight, until a few days ago it was showing around 3lbs lower than my WW weight, so when I was 209lbs it said I was 206lbs. This actually made me feel pretty good, because it was nice to see that lower weight now and again.
But yesterday morning it showed 198.6lbs! I thought 'that's pretty good, maybe I've lost a good amount over the past couple of days, eating well and working out' and was very excited at the prospect that I was maybe nearing the 200 mark.
But this morning - it said I was 192.4lbs. I had a laugh to myself as I realised that either I was becoming a weight loss machine, or it was fairly temperamental all of a sudden.
Regardless, seeing 192.4 when I stood on it made me feel really good, and has motivated me to keep going so I can see 192.4 on the scales at WW in just a few weeks time.
