Unhappy Sniffle Sniffle ::::::Sigh:::::: I cheated!

Sniffle Sniffle ::::::Sigh:::::: I cheated! I just ate an entire box of cookie dough candy from Hollywood Video! I work right down the hall - I went in to get just a diet coke and then next thing I knew was I ate the WHOLE BOX and I'm only on day 2! How oh HOW will I make this stick and get into a healthier mindset? I need some SERIOUS HELP AND SUPPORT and maybe a HUG

It happened...now get back on the beach. I needed to learn that I would have slip ups and that I needed to deal with it and then get back to eating healthy.

GOOD LUCK! You can do this.

Don't let this one slip up become a daily occurance! I've been there too. My advice is only going to the store with enough money for the diet coke, no money = no temptation! You can do it! Phase one goes fast after the first few days of shock!

It's not cheating. It's a set back, an unplanned indulgence, one that you can overcome. Dust off the cookie dough dust and begin again. Today, right now is a new begining. Pick up a case of diet soda next time you are at the store and keep it where you work if you can or bring in a couple cans (bottles?) a day. Not facing all those treats will really help with the temptations.

Those are my favorite candies when I go to the movies....
I forgive you.... I've done it so many times...
But guess what??? You are stronger than a box of candies and won't let it ruin your new life. Get back on track and focus.... avoid ANY kind of contact with temptations. We all have to through this... you are NOT alone....

It happened, it's over and move on!

Make sure you keep healthy snacks with you all the time...NEVER get hungry. If you are full, then the temptation won't be there.

BTW, the diet coke could very well set you off also...try just tons of water, iced tea...

Keep snacks, remember to eat. Try diet chocolate soda and a little skim milk for a faux egg cream for your chocolate fix.

I hate those candies - M&Ms or Raisinettes would have been my poison.

Hi
Everyone has said it already-restart and don't beat yourself up. Recognize the seriousness of your cravings AND realize that junk food is everywhere.

I was in Bed Bath & Beyond to get a cherry pitter. I was a bit hungry, and heading home. I went back to look at the clearance table, came around the corner and was staring at 6 giant bags of caramel corn. Unexpected, and I made a mental note. Food I do not want to eat is everywhere and it sometimes shows up when I least expect it-Debbie-be prepared.

I turned around, got my product, exited and came home to my healthy snack.

The thing to look forward to-get a clean 2 weeks in and your cravings will subside. I am finding more and more that I do have a rational moment to make a decision.

Best Wishes!

Kim, today is Day 1.

Thy sins are forgiven. Now get thee into the Phase I thread and go and sin no more! Or 15 lashes with a whole wheat noodle.
