I decided that I'd try to do the Couch to 5K program. I had plans to start yesterday, but my gallbladder was acting up (
hi cfmama!) and I knew that exercise would not go well with the feeling that someone was stabbing me in the middle of my gut with a hot spear (and that the people behind me at the gym would not be appreciative of the accompanying gas!).
ANYHOO, I went tonight and wooooo! Like the punchline to the old Little Johnny joke, "Rectum? Damn near killed 'em!"
I was only able to get about 15 minutes in before I had to just walk for the last 20 minutes.
So, I'll keep it up, but I think it's gonna be more like Couch to 5K in 9 months rather than 9 weeks!
