Default Newbie here from Seattle
Hello everyone,

Thank you for welcoming me onto your forum. Its nice to see people on here dealing with weight loss. About me: I am a 2 time cancer survivor,with a bunch of other health problems My goal is to lose about 50lbs. I'm hoping to meet other people in my area to see if we want to work out. I do belong to a gym,but summer is coming and it would be nice to walk outside.

I have diabetes in my family and I just would not like to go down that road.

I enjoy crafting,sewing,knitting,scrapping and jewelry making.

One of my dreams is to complete a mini iron man like the Danskin.

I am a newcomer, only here for 2 weeks. I really enjoy meeting new people. I share all your interests, especially knitting and jewelry making.

I am following South Beach Diet, so I post there most often.

Hey, neighbor... I am in Kenmore! Right down the road. I would have loved to take you up on your offer of getting together to walk but had to curtail that due to degenerative arthritis in hip... taken up swimming instead. Welcome to the forum though... glad you are here.
