Question Extreme fatigue and sore fingers in the morning-What did I do wrong?

I'm returning to Atkins after many years away. The last time I lost weight with quickly and craving free BUT I became extremely tired (napped 2 hours a day) and when I got out of bed each mornings my fingers where painfully stiff. I was diagnosis with hypoglyciemia, was stressed out and regained all the weight loss plus.

I'll also add that I stayed in inductions for months, didn't drink 8 glasses of water, nor took any vitimains or any omega oils.

It's been 2 days and I am following the plan by the book, even though I have a bad cold at the moment... really want to avoid a repeat.

I always though that low carb helped with sugar related problems! I just don't know.

Thank you for your insight and suggestions.

Jan from Canada

Hi Jan & back to Atkins!

Would you mind posting a typical day's menu? Also, how much water are you drinking per day? What vitamins are you taking? What type of exercise are you doing?

My ex has hypoglycemia, it can be very tricky to get it under control, but....typically, smaller meals throughout the day & protein are the keys.

All the best to you!
