It depends.
A point is an average of 50 calories, but it can fluctuate from 25 to 75 or more or less depending on fat and fiber involved.
You could say that 22 points is equivalent to roughly 1100 calories, but it could in reality be a lot more or a lot less.
I like counting points instead of calories/fat/fiber because it gives a little more leeway on portions AND encourages you to eat low fat, high fiber. One could go crazy weighing out food to meet a certain caloric goal. You don't need to do that with points.
