Wink Protein Powder Recipes

I know some of us here love our protein powder so I thought this would be a great topic.

Here is one I tried today and I must say it was a treat.

1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder
1/2 cup of skim milk
1/2 cup room temp (or colder) coffee
3-4 pieces of ice

I would love to hear some other recipes. I just started using protein powder and I do not think I could live without it now.

Great idea! I bought a huge container of it awhile back and haven't used hardly any. I'd love some recipes. Thanks for posting!

Hi Eviemc!

Here's my standby protein shake!

1 Scoop Kashi Chocolate Protein Powder
1 Banana
1 cup Lite Vanilla Soy Milk
1 Tablespoon Peanut Butter
Lots of ice

Yum!!! And at only about 370 Calories a GREAT breakfast! BTW's I'm from the MS Gulf Coast. I live in Ohio now but Carpe Diem on Old Shell has my FAVORITE coffee. I order so I can have it here!

sassypants01 - you know I have never been to Carpe Diem and I live like 10 mins from there. I have several friends who just love it. My family and I go camping over in Wiggins several times a year at Flint Creek, we just love that area. Small World.

I think i will give your recipe a try. My teenage girls love protein shakes, this is one they would love to try.
Thanks

Kettlebells are great! I started out in Jan with a 10lb, it came with a video, and I have moved up in late Feb to a 20lb. I love the fact that it keeps your heart rate up. I have not watched the video but I have watched some videos on you tube and i have looked at some things online. They are hard but very rewarding. Since I walk/jog and ride my bike I wanted something upper body as well so I added this in. I really have seen a difference. Check out the exercise forum, they have some info posted at the top there (or it might be the weight one)

Am I the only one that drinks this stuff plain?... ie a scoop in water blend thoroughly and then pour over cubed ice. It tastes yummy just the way it is.

I can't justify using milk. There's just not enough taste difference to me.
