Spring is here but I have a problem with two pairs of my uniform pants. You know ... the nice spring coloured ones? They fit and I can move in them but they just don't look right.
I think that two weeks of diligence ought to fix that. What do you think? Ya think in two weeks we can make a difference. Bet you have some spring/summer things that'd fit better too????
I am just a few pounds away from being into my smallest jeans...I can get them on & zipped, but they are skintight right now, & give me a bit of a muffin-top.
I have absolutely no spring clothes that fit, because they're all way to big now! Even the old ones in the back of the drawer that I've been hanging on to for whenever the "baby weight" (yeah, from all 3 kids) was gone are too big too, I can't believe how excited that makes me. We still have a while before I'll need shorts here in WA, but I'm actually looking forward to the shopping trip which is a huge change for me. And this year maybe I'll actually buy some shorts too, instead of just wearing the capris because I didn't want my legs to show.
Enjoying clothes shopping. *shakes head* It's been about 14 years since trying on clothes has been enjoyable, I'm glad to be there again.
Oh Kestrel! What a wonderful problem! There should be wonderful sales this year. You go buy yourself some nice new small spring things. And congratulations on needing them.
I made the Chinese food mistake yesterday for supper. I only ate what I had in my lunch bag but by suppertime I was tired and grouchy ... It's never a problem to convince my family to order out. I just should have chosen better.
Even my nose feels puffy! More water ...
Boy, Susan, I can relate to that. I love Chinese food, but it just makes me feel so puffy! I have to make really good choices with it, but it still takes me a couple of recovery days.
I love pink! so good luck !! I think you can do it.. As for myself.. I just bought my first pair of shorts in like 10 years I think? They are a bit snug on the upper thigh.. They are like short shorts.. I didn't want to buy them but my grandmother (who is my biggest cheerleader) on my wieght loss journey convinced me they looked good..
Hehe I think she secretly wanted to push me to look better in them!
So that's one of my many GOALS
Susan B. I don't know what you mean, scrubs look crummy on everyone. I have never seen anyone really look good in them at all.
At least you get colour. I only where them when at the hospital and if I am wearing "nicer" clothes, or going into OR or something. They fit better now, (no more gapping at the ties) but that OR green is just gross.
(I swear I had a homebirth last time just to avoid that green.....)
but keep going so you can buy some lovely spring clothes like Kestrel, what a great reward she gets for the hard work....
