Default 50 pounds down and at wedding weight

In the beginning I didn't set mini goals, I honestly never thought I would be able to do it. After losing 30 pounds I finally decided to set a mini goal for my birthday trip to Vegas. I am slowly closing in on that goal, but today was my weigh and measure day at Curves and I am now at my wedding weight. Sometimes it seems so hard to believe that DH and I both gained 50 pounds after we got married, which was only 7 1/2 years ago. Well, I have gotten rid of my marriage weight and he is slowly closing in on his with 30 pounds lost. I am so excited I could cry. I went to the thrift store the other day and bought the best pair of jeans I have ever put on in my life. a wonderful pair of size 12 Calvin Kleins. These are the first jeans that have actually ever fit me every where. Most pants have a gap in the back. Too bad they are only going to fit for a few more months... I'll try to post pics soon. lets all keep up the good work!!!!

I was 190 when I got married and ballooned up to about 230- it totally sucked! But I'm working on it

Thanks chicks, but unfortunately I got rid of the wedding dress and all smaller clothes this last move (DH is military, so lots of moves). I got tired of carrying everything around hoping I would get into it one day. I finally gave up on that pipe dream, now look at me. Figures. I could sure use some of those clothes right now...lol

Way to go -- that's excellent! Enjoy the jeans while they fit, and look forward to the day that they don't anymore!
