Default Support for a healthy cleanse

I am going on a three day cleanse and I'm kind of scared I don't have the will power to make it. I usually eat fairly healthy, but I always allow myself treats so I don't feel super deprived all the time.
My cleanse is a spin off of the raw food cleanse. Basically for three days I cannot any processed foods. No coffee(sigh), no dairy, no topping like mayo, mustard, etc. and nothing from a box.

My meals will be like this:

Breakfast:
Brown eggs, with peppers and mushrooms

Lunch:
Grilled Chicken (no seasoning) with lemon juice
Steamed green beans

Dinner:
Salmon with lemon juice
Broccoli or corn

Snacks:
Any fruits and veggies I want, and nuts with no salt.

It's extreme I know, but it's three days and I have been wanting to do a cleanse for quite some time just to see what my body feels like after not eating boxed food (I'm a box junkie because it's always easier for me)

I will also still be having my 1400 calories a day, just with natural food instead.

Wish me lots of will power!

Good luck, I'm sure the three days will fly by. And you're really not doing anything unhealthy.

You can definitely do it! I once did a SUPER unhealthy cleanse where I ate basically nothing for 10 days. Your cleanse sounds a lot better! Let us know how it goes!

What is scary is that your cleanse sounds like what celebrities are always being quoted as being their diets in trash rags and such. Good luck, it sounds like it will kick start you into eating better, for sure.

I think your meal plan looks really good actually, very healthy! I wish I had more willpower to do a raw food diet.. its supposed to be so good for you!

Good luck! Hope you get the results you want!

I just got done with lunch and I already feel better. The no coffee thing is crap, but I think it's mostly mental since I've been having less each day this last week to prepare for this three days.

Thanks for all the happy notes!

Good luck! I bet you will feel so much lighter when you are done and probably be lighter on the scale, too. Keep us posted!

Just curious, why no seasonings on the chicken breast? Like you can't have even paprika or pepper? Chicken is so bland to me by itself LOL.

Haha I just wanted to try and have as little extras as possible. I put fresh cilantro, fresh garlic and lemon on my chicken and it was very yummy!

Let me tell you, I'm CRAVING anything processed right now though. I just want absolutely anything- like a pudding cup so I'm going to have my strawberries and blueberries instead

If you could keep this up for a while you would probably start to feel really good. Now, I don't mean eating so few calories or fat. Just staying away from the processed stuff. You might feel fantastic!

When I first saw the word "cleanse" I thought you were going to tell us you were going to just be drinking tea for a week.

I think the menu for this is awesome! I really hope it helps with your processed food cravings, but unfortunately I think it takes longer than 3 days for them to go away. Also, my bf randomly gives up coffee every so often.. he's not fun when he does that!

Good luck and keep us posted!

The no-coffee thing is hard. I have been sleeping soooooo much better without it, but I miss my treat just the same. I just cannot stomach the thought of decaf. Coffee totally helped me lose weight and split my day up efficiently. It staved off my hunger, but I just cannot sleep after drinking it. Good luck to you!

I've made it one day! I have decided to go five days to help see more of an impact. I set the goal at three days because I honestly didn't think I could make it, but after finishing up dinner I feel AMAZING!

I feel thinner and not weighed down. I've had 1200 calories and then I still have my fruit for the evening.

I've been eating pretty much every hour and a half, but I feel so great! And I'm really proud I made it through the day!
