Default great Trader Joe finds

For those fans of Nessa Bars and crockpot oatmeal TJs carries 2 kinds of unsweetened cherries (bing & sweet), blueberries, peaches, and mangoes all without any added sugar and reasonably priced. We came home with enough bags to last a few weeks I still love the bags of mixed greens best though. They are part of dinner tonight with a little soy sauce, sesame oil & chili peppers.

Oh yay, another TJ's fan!

My fave TJ's thing is the little Greek pizzas from the fresh section -- they are so delicious! I usually have half for lunch and then the next day have the other half.

Also love the nonfat Greek yogurt, the frozen Thai green beans, the baked tortilla chips, the fresh baja style salsa, the black bean taquitos, the almond butter, the all-fruit jam....just etc etc etc! And everything is so cheap there!

Oh! And check out the cilantro salad dressing from the fridge section....only 45 calories for 2 tablespoons! It's the end of dry/watery/vinegary diet salad syndrome!!

We don't actually have one nearby - it's about 1.5 hours away. We try to combine the trip with other planned trips or make big runs down every 4-6 weeks. I love their fake meats and the amazing selection of rf cheeses though I'm still not convinced rf havarti is really possible

K8-EEE, I love the black bean taquitos too! I buy almost all of my groceries there. I also love their coconut curry chicken sticks.

Being on SBD,the best deals are the raw almonds, zucchini, peanut butter, yogurt and cottage cheese. I also tried a little quiche with no crust that had spinach, feta and bacon, which was pretty good.

I have been a TJ fan/customer for a long time, but I just discovered (well, tried) this dressing... I LOVE IT and use it for dips, dressing, whatever. It's sooo much flavor for so few calories.

Love their almond butter, frozen whole wheat pizza dough, toasted oat bran hot cereal & greek yogurt. Also bought some refrigerated cooked lentils last visit. Closest one is 250 miles away, but my daughter lives there, so when I visit I stock up.

You can't beat TJ's prices on their dried fruits and nuts. I especially love the toasted, unsalted slivered almonds - so good on FF Greek yogurt with some agave nectar! I've been buying all my frozen fruits and vegetables there, too, for quality as well as the best prices.

I forgot to mention, they have these pre-cooked bags of brown rice that are great, just microwave for 5 minutes.

We don't have one here either! I am not even sure where the closest one is -- 4-5 hours away in St. Louis I think! I would looooove to get one, though, as I love that place!!

Ruth - I checked for my Mom once and I think they are down by the city You can google Trader joe locations and check their map but I don't think it will be good news. None in VT, ME or NH either but I can get to MA.

We have one here now but unfortunately its a very small one and I don't think they carry near as much as they do in most of there stores... But, its still time I check back in and see what I can find there! Its near the whole foods market here so I make both stops at once but the whole foods is definitely pricier....

I love their mini ww pitas... and I also like thier veggie meats... I bought their unbreaded baked eggplant parm and it was NASTY... just fyi! and I love eggplant no matter how its cooked so it had to be pretty darn bad for me to not eat it!!! lol
