BornToFly 01-26-2009, 11:40 AM I can offically move the ticker down to 206.6 :) Down 3 lbs. Took about a month to get there, but it finally came. Kae 01-26-2009, 12:02 PM Ok... Time to be accountable. After a week of snacking I am up to 261... however, after a month of putting it off I started my Fitday food journal again so I can track calories. ***PS. Rhonda, you look awesome in your new avatar. I was going to send you a PM but saw someone else commented on here so I thought I would too! H8cake 01-26-2009, 12:40 PM I'm down one pound:carrot: Rhonda, I like your avatar too, very pretty! Congrat's everyone on the losses, maintenance and new decades of weight! Congrat's Kae on tracking with fitday, I know that will help you so much! Slashnl 01-26-2009, 05:50 PM I am down 2.4 lbs, which is good because it gets me back down to my starting weight. Guess I do have to work at it! Rhonda, great picture!!! nicolen 01-27-2009, 01:37 AM Awesome stuff, everyone. And Rhonda, that photo is gorgeous! I'm down another 2 pounds! Ten Years 01-27-2009, 09:18 AM 255 on the nose. Not the 253.8 I was hoping for, but a .8 loss all the same. irishsarah 01-27-2009, 09:23 AM Congratulations to everyone! This is a bit OT, but those of you that are able to weigh yourself so precisely (ex: -2.8 pounds), do you own scales that are that exact or do you weigh in somewhere else? If you do own one, where did you get it, and if you don't mind me asking, how much was it? I'd love a scale that was that specific. I have a digital scale, but it is not that precise. Luvbean 01-27-2009, 10:21 AM I am down 1.4 this week to 281! Total of 16lbs gone forever! Kae 01-27-2009, 11:44 AM This is a bit OT, but those of you that are able to weigh yourself so precisely (ex: -2.8 pounds), do you own scales that are that exact or do you weigh in somewhere else? I bought the Taylor Biggest Loser scale at Target... It weighs in .2 pound increments. I think it ran about $40. Luvbean 01-27-2009, 01:12 PM I bought the Taylor Biggest Loser scale at Target... It weighs in .2 pound increments. I think it ran about $40. That is the same on I have! DishyFishy 01-27-2009, 03:34 PM This is a bit OT, but those of you that are able to weigh yourself so precisely (ex: -2.8 pounds), do you own scales that are that exact or do you weigh in somewhere else? If you do own one, where did you get it, and if you don't mind me asking, how much was it? My Tanita scale measures that precisely. It also gives a reading for body fat and water, which can be useful for tracking trends. I broke a two week stall with 2 pounds off, a 1½% decrease in body fat, and an inch off my waist. :dancer: Just shows that it pays to stay on plan even when the scale isn't being friendly. activeadventurer 01-28-2009, 06:33 AM Congratulations everyone. New to these weekly threads. Got a scale last week so that I can start weighing weekly. I read that 75% of the people in the National Weight Loss Registry (average length of maintaining weight loss 5.5 years!) weigh themselves at least once a week. With those kind of resluts I want to do what they do. Good news--Lost 6.8 lbs. this week Bad news--Had the stomach flu :( pick7499 01-28-2009, 08:25 AM Down 4.4!!!! Love the week after TOM! :carrot: fiberlover 01-28-2009, 09:42 AM Great job everyone! I have a Health-O-Meter digital scale which I have had for a few years. It's very reliable, no multiple readings. I always get the same number no matter how many times I get on and off of it (not that I do that....). It weighs in .2 increments. This week I lost 1.0 - that was the last bit of my New Orleans vacation weight! irishsarah 01-28-2009, 12:14 PM Thanks for the scale info. I am starting to wonder how accurate my old scale is; I think its time to get a new one. A Target just opened by me and I think I could squeeze $40 out of the budget. Thanks! cfmama 01-28-2009, 05:40 PM I'm down three lbs in three days... and TODAY I've officially lost 71 pounds!!!! The calorie cycling and dropping down to 1700 average a day clearly is helping. foxxy511 01-29-2009, 10:33 AM I was down 2.6 this week! So that puts me at 183.6. The 170's are so close, I can almost taste them! And congrats CF on the milestone...that's 71 pounds you'll never see again!! TJFitnessDiva 01-29-2009, 10:38 AM Right now I'm weighing in at 195 so if that stays true on Sat I'll be thrilled!! I have increased my run to 3.5 miles instead of 3 miles so I'm guessing that's why I lost 4 pounds this week :) gumboot 01-29-2009, 01:34 PM I had a second gain in two weeks. I am up this week 3.6lbs. I gained 6 lbs in January. After doing so well in December, I thought January would be a breeze. Ha!! I've been letting the stress get to me and have slacked off EVERYTHING. Today is a new day. Hopefully once I start drinking the water again (instead of pop :o), it will flush some water weight off. But I have a date with Leslie sansone this afternoon just to start things moving in the right direction again :) Rhonda.....Fantabulous new picture. Gorgeous! Bee20nine 01-29-2009, 01:40 PM I gained 1.4 lbs this week. katiecron 01-29-2009, 05:45 PM weighing in at 232. mostly i am excited that i just received my first compliment. i keep my calorie counting and exercise pretty private so it really means a lot when a coworker or friend actually notices weight loss. today a co worker stated that she noticed weight loss in my face and in my belly. totally true. i have been very pleased that the first 18lbs have been considerably noticeable in my belly. my size 20 pants, jeans, shorts... are officially huge on me. to the point of looking unprofessional, in fact. Jen415 01-30-2009, 08:51 AM Dropped 1.8 lbs this week...and it's even TOM!! :) That's a total of 17 lbs since January 2!! I am within 5 lbs of my first shorterm goal--this is AWESOME!! howie6267 01-30-2009, 09:27 AM I'm up 4 this week. Someone stool my mojo. I thought I was really back in the grove and then wham a couple days off track and here I am. Oh well I know I will do better this week. Sea 01-30-2009, 09:47 AM Congratulations everyone! The improved numbers and compliments are wonderful. Let's keep motivated and keep this train moving toward goal. 3.6 down this week hautbois 01-30-2009, 09:48 AM I'm going to say I maintained this week. I may have lost 1 lb, but it's hard to tell on my scale. I have a dial scale and the needle moves even as I breathe. :dizzy: I'm going to buy a digital scale today and hopefully take some of the guesswork out of weigh-in day. BrandNewJen 01-30-2009, 10:44 AM I just want to thank everyone for their honesty--- it really makes me feel so much better to see people being honest and accountable even when they gain. I want to hide in shame when I think that last year I lost 47 pounds between January and the end of May.... and then gained back all but 11 pounds of it... ::sigh:: But I'm back on track and moving along as of this New Years--- this is my first weigh in on this board b/c I've been missing from around here these days--- I need to check in more often, I know. Anyhow, as of 1/1/09 I was 291.2... my weigh in last week was 286.0... Weigh in this week: 285.2 (lost .8 pounds this week) I was behaving badly too, so I'm happy with the loss. tolose85 02-01-2009, 12:48 PM 4 lbs gone. That's 20 down! :) lottie63 02-01-2009, 12:52 PM 4 lbs gone, -30 total. :D cfmama 02-01-2009, 01:43 PM 2.6 lbs gone this week for a total of 71. SwimGirl 02-01-2009, 02:38 PM I am still holding steady, phew! I ate a little too much wheat this week, and that translated into maintaining. I know better for next week! -Aimee vBulletin® v3.6.7, Copyright ©2000-2012, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
