Default OT: Good Music
I need to update my iPod! What's everyone listening to? (Not necessarily workout music...)

I need some more good music! I like pretty much everything, except I'm not hugely into rap/r&b. Sooo....alternative, rock, classical, jazz, indie, pop, country, christian...I need suggestions!

Do you like musicals?? And not like BIG DANCE NUMBER SPIN AROUND JAZZ HANDS musicals.....

There are some smaller, contemporary musicals that have ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE music. Really modern lyrics with great singers. SERIOUSLY genius stuff, if you're open to it I can give you some names!

Well, OBVIOUSLY the new Britney album!!!! I was at the gym yesterday & I have a workout mix - I realized that a ton of the songs on there are Britney songs...she just has such good music to workout to.

My new favorite song right now is Burnin' Up by the Jonas Brothers.

Some other good motivating music: Pink, George Michael, Backstreet Boys, Kelly Clarkson, lots of Pop - that stuff always makes me want to workout.

Chance: hahaha! Ooooh I LOVE the Britney album!! So surprised that I haven't gotten sick of it. Last night, my neighbor (beside or above me?) has Britney BLARING! So I turned off my TV and enjoyed And I pretty much have all your other suggestions. Have you heard Kelly Clarkson's brand new one? It's on the internet somewhere, maybe AOL music? It's good!

Junebug: MUSE!!! One of my favorite bands! The Knights of Cydonia album is actually on my list of stuff to d/l! They're amazing live...I've never heard of Bon Iver, I'm about to go look that one up.

MGMT- Time to Pretend --- SUCH a catchy song!
Vampire Weekend
Mika-- sooo catchy and great for working out.

They probably all take multiple listens, but then you'll get hooked!

Try "Robyn" the chick who toured with Madonna. That's good stuff to work out to.

Do you like 80s stuff? There's a cool remix album of all Roxy Music (Bryan Ferry) songs that's good to work out to.

Anything remixed by Jacques Le Cont - he remixed some Madonna and Gwen Stefani songs that are AWESOME!
