That's a great selection! Work with what you like and keep trying new stuff and maybe something you like will come along, too. There's no hard fast rule that you have to eat salad everyday. I love salad, but I have to take a break sometimes because it gets old. It's sort of like not eating breakfast food for breakfast (which I'm guilty of). Some people find that preposterous as though the food police are going to haul you away.

Just remember, cooked veggies count, too

I don't like salad much either and I have never been able to find a good dressing. Since I love pickles and hot peppers I now put a little of the pickle juice or hot pepper juice on the salad. I can eat it now with no problem.

I don't like salad much, either, which is why I don't usually eat it.

No harm in eating just cooked veggies. A big all-veggie stir-fry can have the same nutrition as a salad, but is 1000X more appealing to me than a big bowl of raw vegetables.

Maybe you can try some new ones - zucchini, spinach (or other greens), cabbage, beets, mushrooms, peppers, turnips, artichokes, green beans... I'm blanking on other vegetables now, haha. Or try cooking your old favorites in different ways than you usually do - roasting, steaming, sauteeing, fake-frying by coating in breadcrumbs or panko and baking.

If you REALLY want to get used to eating raw veggies, maybe you can slowly try cooking them less and less. There are some veggies that I can't stand when they're really well cooked and soft, like asparagus and carrots -- I like them still a little firm and crispy. That might be a good transition point between cooked and raw.

sharpie -- WELCOME TO MY LIFE!!!!!!!!!!! I can't STAND lettuce/salads!

I actually was diagnosed with "too many tastebuds", or something like that...I think they call me a "supertaster". Anything that's raw tastes SUPER SUPER bitter to me, and I can't even get it down! It's so frustrating!

I'm not a huge salad fan either. I'll eat it and occasionally order it as a side at a resturant, but I rarely make it at home. I however, do love cooked veggies. So I eat that. Stir-frys, roated veggies, grilled veggies... I'll take any of those over a salad. I'd never force myself to eat something I don't really like.

I have a friend who only eats salads with BBQ sauce because she doesn't like dressing. I don't particularly love salad, I just tolerate it. Adding flavored lean meats (currently smoked turkey) make it almost ok for me.
