Default Loosing Weight For an Upcoming Wedding

My wedding isnt until Oct. 2009 but I still have 30 pounds to loose. I would like to start a challenge to loose 5-10 pounds a month. I am very new to this, and never really dieted for very long before, but i just had a baby about 5 months ago and still havent lost or even tried to loose the weight. My current weight is about 127 pounds and I would like to get to atleast 100 or so. Any advice would help. Thanks. and if your up for this with me than post.

My wedding is in March of 09 and I would like to be down to 130 by than so I know what your going through. If you at 127 right now and want to loose 5-10 pounds a month, I think thats a bit much. I see you have your goal weight of 95 pounds. If you don't mind me asking, how old are you? Were you always around 95 pounds? I was at 110 when I was 21 and that looked healthy than but if I went down to 110 now I am not sure if if would look good on me. Don't get me wrong, if you want to eat healthy and loose a couple pounds go for it however; I strongly recommend talking to a doctor to get a healthy weight goal. 95 could be it but I am not a doctor and seems a little low. Congrats on the baby and the wedding! Stay healthy! Shannon

How tall are you? 95 pounds doesn't sound realistic unless you are quite short. Unless you eat nothing, losing 5-10 pounds a month at your current weight is unrealistic.

At 95 pounds you will be underweight. 105 pounds to 110 pounds would probably be better.
