Smile 2nd day on NS

Hi everyone...new here first post. I am a 41 yo mom of 1 great little boy. I have been yo-yoing with 20-25 lbs for a couple of years now and at first low carb worked for me but then, I just stalled out and had MAJOR CONSTIPATION problems (sorry, tmi) So a friend of mine told me about ns and altho it is expensive, if you look at what I was spending a day for lunch out etc...I will actually save money. I am hoping to lose 15 lbs in 5 weeks, I know I may be asking for a lot but 2 of my friends did this on NS in their first 5 weeks. I have a trip to Cuba coming up Dec 2 and would like to not feel so chubby in a bathing suit.
So far, I like what I have eaten aside from the burger that crumbled apart in my hand lol.
Looking forward to reading your posts.
Louise

Good for you! I heard Nutrisystem works great As long as you can handle the food, which I personally think is good. Check your local Big Lots store too they usually have some Nutrisystem food for 1-3$ an item.

Good luck on your journey!!

be careful with NS at biglots, people were saying that some of the food was expired.

Big Lots is I think a chain of stores in the US, we don't have it in Canada, AFAIK.

Hi Louise,

I just went to a few Big Lots this week...Biglots.com They dont seem to have a lot of selection at this point. Good luck with the program..I really like it. As far as the burger goes...that is one of my favorites....maybe try less water, I barely cover it. Also, check out the Nutrisystem Buddies 2008 thread - lots of good information and support there.

YEs Big Lots is a chain of stores in the US. You do have to check and make sure the food is not expired. Sorry I didn't realize you were not from the US. Woops!

How is NS working for you!??
