Default Back to Beachin!

Hi everyone
It's been awhile since I've strayed from the beach. I had started so well last January - lost 12 lbs during Phase 1 and then I don't know what happened - but slowly I moved off the beach. I'm still about 5 lbs less than my Jan. starting weight, but I can't believe I didn't stick with it. So today I started back and this time my husband is joining me. I'm hoping that with both of us following this way of life, we can make it a permanent change. This is a great place to get good ideas and motivation. I'll be seeing all of you around.

congratulations to you and your husband for deciding to go for it. the thing that i like about sb is that it is a lifestyle change, so doing it alone can be tough. my family has become sb friendly, and they didn't even realize it! it makes it easier when everyone is on board.

Welcome & good luck! I can't get my husband to convert although he does eat whatever I make. It's all that beer and ice cream he won't give up.

Welcome back, Westiesam! It's great that your DH is joining you this time around! Just take it slow and cautious when you begin Phase 2. Check out the threads in our FAQ section about how to make the transition, I think you'll find them very helpful. Good luck to both of you!

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone. I am hoping that having my husband on board will be the trick to making this work for me. The other thing I had forgotten about was how you have to plan ahead. I spent alot of time this weekend preparing some meals for the week. I remember how easily it was to grab something else if what you needed wasn't there.
However, I consider myself a good "Phase oner". It's Phase 2 that I don't do well at and as you said Cottage by the Sea - I'll have to do better on my transition. But I know there is tons of help here on this board-- so here we go -- day 1 gone and doing well. Have a great day~!
