Default halfway there!!

ok...so i have lost 50 pounds now, go me!! I just went to my nutritionist last tuesday, and i see her every three weeks and that was the 3rd time, including the initial visit. So it's been just over a couple months that i've been on this diet. im doing it because of my diabetes, i need to lose weight so i can take better care of it. i started at 326 and i am now at 276!! check out the pics:

this is me when i feel i was my fattest, about 2 years ago. with me is rebecca, better known as raw23 on the boards

this is me earlier in the year.

and this is me saturday!! same shirt and it looks like my clothes are falling off me. i really need some new clothes.

finally the ubiquitous "look how big my pants were and how small i am now" shot...

just wanted to share that it can be done!!

Congrats! Looking good!

You are both lucky to have each other for support and encouragement. I wish I could get my DH on board.

Keep up the great work!!!

Oh, correct me if I'm wrong, but was it you that posted earlier about setting a goal when you think your "perfect" bmi is too low for you? Now that I see your picture, you look like you're about the same height and frame as my boyfriend. He looks perfectly fit at about 210-220 (not skinny, but fit). Does that help?

yes, that was me...and now that i am losing weight, i think i can get down to the 220 range and still look ok. there still isnt a set goal for me, i just wanna be healthy and im well on my way there. once i lose a little more weight im going to start my weight training and get some muscle. i know that will slow the weight loss but i will look better

As long as you expect it, and know you can deal with it, you'll be fine. It's only fair that it comes off easier at first, when you need the external feedback the most
