Just wanted to share I got for my 40th bday a scale (from daughter) and a full size mirror (from DH). Most people have given me a look when I've told them. But to me it was such a sweet gesture. I didn't have any of those things, and they've seen me tracking my food and writing down inspirational quotes. And they wanted to show me their support. It was just sweet.

Well, to each her own! It's nice that they gave you what you wanted. I have to say, a full-size mirror has really helped me with reality checks.

WOW, I haven't had a full length mirror in years. I've been telling myself the view half way up at my bureau mirror is adequate...
