babymama
Hi there,
I am in the same situation as you. I weighed 201 pounds when I gave birth. The doctor even said, "You really don't have to gain anymore weight." Mortifying. I knew he was right, especially since my baby weighed only 4 pounds, 6 ounces. I had 50 pounds to lose. That was 10 months ago.
Well, I lost the first 20 lickety-split in the first month. After that, my weight loss came to a standstill for about nine months. Well, my reunion is coming up in mid June. I decided it was time to be a little more proactive. It also didn't help that I saw an old frenemy from high school who said, "You used to be so teeny in high school." Hag.
My friend had done well on WW that she did at home. I decided to do the same and added brisk walking to my daily regimen. I lost another 10 pounds in a month. Well, after a couple new exercise videos for strength training and pilates, I have dropped another 4 pounds in a couple more weeks.
You can do it. Don't forget to reward yourself; for me, that is the best part.
