Default Just about to start...

I received my first order last night!! I'm starting today. I weighed myself this morning and despite my binging I haven't gained anything. Yay! Now if only my oatmeal will cool down...We have commercial grade microwaves at work, which I didn't take into consideration when nuking my blueberry oatmeal. It doesn't look to be overcooked, but how can you tell? This stuff is a congealed mess right now. I'll be cooking at home over the weekend and plan to have the oatmeal again on Sunday with my normal microwave, so maybe I can get a better opinion of it then. If all else fails, I'll try making muffins out of the oatmeal.

I have nothing to add about cooking the oatmeal but wanted to ask: how do you make muffins from the oatmeal?
BTW, I see that we're right around the same weight. I'm about 160 and want to lose about 20 pounds! Good luck to you (and both of us)!!!!

The box of oatmeal actually has the recipe for muffins on it. You can also find a ton of recipes out there. Look at the Recipes sticky to find a lot of them. Medifast Recipes is also a good place to find them. I haven't tried any of them yet obviously, but they all sound really good!

Oh, and the oatmeal ended up to be not that bad. It wasn't great, though. It was kind of bland, but if I made sure I got a blueberry with every bite it was tolerable.

I actually found that the oatmeal tastes better if you just add really (almost boiling hot water) and stir. When I was using the microwave to cook it, it seemed to turn into mush. Hope that helps! Good Luck
