Default Bender Method?

Has anyone tried using the bender balls, or using anything like this to do crunches? Does it seem to make a difference?

I own it but haven't tried it out yet. I get an awful bruise on my lower spine doing regular crunches on the floor, so I invested in the Bender ball to fix that problem. I'll let you know how it is!

I've been watching the commercial for them too, and i wonder if they work, so I'm looking forward to hearing your feedback on them! I just went out and bought a crunch bench, so I can have an even greater range of motion, so I can work the obliques...but the ball looks like a great option if you dont own a bench!

Today I did the Total Body Sculpting DVD. It was 35 minutes long, but there was a lot of talking involved. I would guess the actual workout time would be about half of that. The exercises worked upper body, lower body, and core but I'm not feeling sore at all. My heart rate really didn't get that high, from a perceived exersion standpoint. She talked about how the exercises related to pilates but I've never done pilates before so I can't speak to whether they were or were not similar. Thumbs up for the upper body portion. Not so much core work on this video. You do need a band. I was able to use a pilates band but they had the ones with the handles, which would be better.

I also have the core training, buns and thighs, and advanced core training DVDs so I'll let you know how they are as well. I'll probably do another one on Thursday.

Hope that helps!

I bought this but haven't used it all that much...BUT, let me say it isn't because I don't like it...It is because I have no motivation to exercise. The times I broke down and did it, I liked it...my sister tried it and she said she wasn't coordinated enough...lol (it was a funny sight) but I don't think you really need much coordination, she just didn't want to do it. (she hates exercise like me)
