Default Holiday dessert recipes

I thought this would be a good place to ask. Does anyone know any sites or have any recipes of thier own for holiday desserts. Like cookies, brownies, tarts ect... it really does't matter to be if they're healthy or not. I'm in the mood to bake this Christmas but I don't have the money to buy any cook books. Thanks

If you don't care whether the recipes are healthy, go to http://www.joyofbaking.com. It's very old school...I've never personally tried any of their recipes, but they come with complete instructions.
You can find a recipe for almost anything at http://www.allrecipes.com. Plus, people review the recipes, so you get lots of handy tips!
For healthier substitutes of desserts and such, you have to check out the recipes at this site, and also at http://www.calorieking.com.
If you want more, try Googling whatever you're making! There are a TON of recipe websites out there, both healthy and who-cares.
Have fun

CookingLight.com is my favorite online source for recipes. And they have the advantage of being healthy too!

Also, you don't need to buy cook books--check them out for free from your local library.

Look up Santa's Whiskers - they're my favorite cookies, I make them every year to bring them to work

it has pecans, chopped marachino (sp?) cherries, and it's rolled in coconut then sliced and baked. So good! But fattening... just don't eat more than a couple a day ... if you have a chance to get any at all
