Default My free new wardrobe

OK, so to be honest, it's not entirely free. I did pay for it, at some point or another. But its been fun pulling things out of my closet that I either haven't worn in a while, or never wore because when I bought them they were snug. I have lots of things that I found on clearance racks and bought for "someday when I lose weight". There were things in there I forgot I had!!

Like the pair of slacks I'm wearing today...still had the tag ($4.99 clearance!) on and I dont remember when I bought them.

Trying on clothes from your own closet has to be one of the most motivating things in the world. I love it and do it all the time. I've got some really cute "free" stuff to look forward to.

The weird thing is when you are so happy to get into a size that made you cry when you got there the first time. I distinctly remember trying to hold back tears in a dressing room when I realized that I had moved to a size 20 pants. I bought those pants but hated them. Last month they fit again and I was thrilled with them; they're the best pants ever. LOL.

Way to Go Christy! That is so much fun! I remember the days of having nothing to wear because everything was too small. It's so much fun to go closet shopping!

Oooh yeah! I did that alot too. Congradulations!! Dont you just love the feeling of fitting into something that was once too small?

I have two skirts that I'm dreaming about. I don't think they'd fit untill I'm about 200-220 lbs but that's okay. One day!! lol

LOL What a feeling! I just completely cleaned out my closet. If it was too big or too ugly, off to Goodwill! And I found ALL kinds of clothes that were smaller...I can't wait until I can wear more of them!

I was sorting through clothes since I just moved and I found a skirt the other day and all my 16 clothes have been getting really loose, so I put this skirt on thinking it would be really loose, but it fit perfectly, which frustrated me, until I looked at the tag and discovered it was a 12!

I can't wait to get back into some of my smaller pants. I'm really close to fitting into some - they're just slightly too snug. I think when I tone my waist a little more, they'll be perfect.

I posted something similiar on the NSV's, isn't it great!! I bought all these clothes when I was delusional about my body, then when I got them home, tried the clothes on, they wouldn't fit! So in a box they went. Well now they are out of the box and on me!

I was just telling my boyfriend over lunch that I can't wait for the day that I'm complaining that nothing fits me because everything in my closet is too big. He says he better start saving up some money considering how dedicated I am this time.

How exciting for you!!! I absolutely love trying things on now, and have often found myself standing in front of my bedroom closet trying on one thing after another to see what fits now, what's too big (yippee!) and what I'm almost into. Congratulations!

This happened to me just this morning! I found a pair of jean size 18. I held them up and thought nah they wont fit. Well I tried anyway and they fit! Didnt even have to lay down to zip them!

I know how you feel though my "free" clothes are few and far between. Pretty much everything I own is getting to big! haha! not that I am complaining though!

My daughter couldn't understand my joy last week when I fit comfortably into an 'old' pair of trousers. Must be nearly two years since they last fit. I'll have problems though if I lose enough to be two sizes smaller. I skipped a couple of sizes when I was pregnant - 9 years ago now.

I just went through my closet and got rid of my collection of too-big-for-me clothes. I'm down to about 5 things I can wear on a regular basis. And, I discovered that I have lots of 12's but no 14's at all (I'm in a 16 now). So, in about 15 lbs it'll be time to go clothes shopping. My 16's are getting loose and in 15 lbs they'll be unwearable.

I was thinking yesterday about one day not too long ago when I held up a pair of my size 18 jeans wishing so badly that I could fit into them. "I would be happy if only..." I recently had to pitch them because they fell off! The jeans I'm wearing now are a pair that I bought way too small because I just loved them. They were my "impossible jeans." Now, I've had 3 people comment in 2 weeks that they're just too big on me. Woo hoo! My next "impossible jeans" are a size 12, and all of the sudden they don't seem as impossible.
