Hi,

My name is Kim. I'm 31, but will be 32 in 16 days. I have a lot of weight to lose, but to make it even tougher, I'm an on again/off again girl. I'll say the same thing now that I've said several times before: I'm really going to do it this time. And I really do want to, it's just someting about my personality that will start things with a lot of enthusiasm and then after some time passes, so does my focus and motivation. I just don't know how to maintain the focus. So maybe being here will help. A girl can hope anyway.

I have a 3 year old son named Austin and a 32 year old husband named Bill.

Anyway, I look forward to getting to know you all.

I hope it's ok, but I'll probably copy and paste this intro into some of the other forums I might fit into.

Oh and btw....I was going to put a smilie in here, but man alive, you guys have A LOT of smilies!!! lol So a simple will have to do.

Ok, just a quick test. I made a signature and a weightloss ticker, but it didn't show up in my original post. Just wanting to see if it comes through here.

I am a newbie too. I've said the same thing you have, This time I'm going to do it. Then, this time turns into next time. I am so weak when it comes to food. What I really need is someone to kick me in the behind and tell me to get it done(lol). I need a diet buddy, can you help

Don't feel to bad, I just had Oreos ond milk. I ate them and then asked myself, why did you just do that I always feel like such a failure when I cheat, aqll I can do now is get back up and try again.

I'll try to help, but I'll warn you now, my track record has NEVER been good. I'm not sure I should take on the motivation for someone else when i can't even keep it up for myself. But I'll try to help as much has I can.

Oh and I know what you mean about food being a weakness. I'll have my usuall night time binges and sit there thinking, WHILE I'm inserting the next bite of whatever into my mouth, "I know this is bad and I should stop, but it's sooooo good, I don't really care." I'm so weak!

Sorry, don't mean to be so down. I don't know what you all will think of your newest newbie. I need to improve my attitude, it's just so hard when your past has been so full of failures. JCP, are you sure you want ME as a buddy?! lol

Hey everybody, I am soo stressed out! I have 5 kids at my house ranging from 15 to 5. This would be ok but I eat when I'm stressed. OMG this is hard! Why can't there just be a majic diet pill you take and by morning your thin.
