RemeberHowToSmile, That's great on starting to walk/jog again! I'm glad you allowed yourself to swim and not let other people being there stop you! I sincerly wish I could allow myself to do that.
It's funny because the last time I went swimming/in a bathing suit in public was back in 2004 approx 185. I gained a lot of weight, and I swore, to myself and my mom, that I refused to get back into a bathing suit in public until I hit 185 again (if I could do it then, I could do it again). Funny thing is, I'm nearly 15 pounds below that and the thought of getting into a bathing suit in public terrifies me even more than ever.
So, good for you for doing that!
Jadeybaby, even if you walk mostly, you still jogged some! You do have to start somewhere, and it's going to come to a point where you aren't going to need or want to walk. That's great that you enjoyed it! There's nothing worse than it feeling like a chore.
Kery, congrats! If you don't mind me asking, what exercise was it?

- Well, I have to say that I'm now starting to gain a lot more confidence. My personality has always come across shy, as that has always been the safest. But over the last month or so, my real personality is starting to come out, and it truly has been a blast. I'm laughing more, joking more, etc.
- I haven't seen my dad and grandma for a couple of months, and yesterday was the first time I've seen them in awhile. Their reaction to my weight loss was absolutely hilarious. I swear their jaws hit the ground, and they were absolutely raving. Then my dad shoved $20.00 in my hand to buy a new pair of jeans for the weight loss. Granted the $20.00 was nice, but the looks on their faces was absolutely priceless.
- I started at a 20W in jeans (which were snug when I bought them last year). I'm now starting to be able to fit into some 14's.
- This isn't exactly June, per se, but I'm confident that it will happen again this month, but it is certainly my greatest NSV. At my highest weights (even when I was at this weight in past years), my period was very irregular, but once I started climbing up in the 200's, my periods became even more irregular. I was only having about 2 periods a year (approx 6 months apart), and it was only very minimal spotting (this happened for 2 years).
Since losing weight and actually exercising (as this year is the first time I've really ever exercised), I started my period in March. It came as such a huge shock to me because it was a freakin massacre (sorry for the TMI). I hadn't had one that heavy, ever. Thinking it was just something out of the blue, I had one again in April. That was my first consecutive period since I was about 16 years old (now 22)! And then I proceeded to have one again in May.
I honestly don't think any other NSV could possibly beat this.
