Day 2 and veggies and protein are not very appealing right now - I do like the juice though. I go for my 2nd visit this afternoon and hopefully will find out that I get to eat real food tomorrow! I love this forum, you guys seem to give each other lots of support which is so necessary on this weight loss journey!
You can do it... If you can manage to get through the day, I promise it will get much easier...
Just don't lose focus or your losses won't be as great and mentally, you'll feel pretty down...
At the same time, don't freak if you don't lose a lot right off the bat... At this point, you're just trying to get your body prepared for changes.. A shock to the system if you will...
It'll happen.. Just think about how much you're paying!!! That was a big motivation for me...
Just think... tomorrow at this time you be enjoying a nice breakfast with some yummy in-season fruit. You can do this. Hang in there. If you go to be early tonight, only 12 hours to go.
Yay, pugsie! (We need a real name for you, or I'll end up calling you pugsie forever, heh.) Yep, hang in there...you will probably see a happy loss tomorrow because of your determination to stick it out!!
yes it definitly gets better, with me I try to keep busy cause if I dont all i do is think about food. It really is an obsession with me. Hey do you have pugs??
the love of my life is my 5yr. old pug "buddy"
You can do this I know how hard it is I was doing this a few days earlier and hated not eatting anything but the same thing.
I can tell you the people on this board kept me from giving in!
I lost 3.4lbs and was sooo glad I did not give up. Now I have regular food and everyday the temptation is less and less to eat things in huge amounts that are not as good for you.
Once you see the scale at your next visit you will be glad you stuck it out!
I will give you this bit of advice when it comes to veggies. I was very limited in the beginning about what veggies I was willing to eat. I just didn't like anything but broccoli, cauliflower, carrots (which we can't have too many of), and corn (which is a starch). And I could only stand so much salad. I decided that there was NO WAY that I was going to make it through this journey on those! So I sucked it up and tried some new stuff...low and behold I like snow peas and sugar snap peas and bean sprouts and celery and green peppers and onions and all kinds of other things! So I would recommend just trying some new things in the future! You never know what you may actually like!
