I like my strawberries sliced with just a touch of balsamic vinegar sprinkled on them. Yum! It's simple, but oh so good!

I love stawberries any way you fix them. I eat them on my Special K Protien Plus cereal every morning here lately with a couple of slices of banana.

Oh man...I LOVE my strawberries!

If I have them on hand, I throw them into my chocolate protein shakes for afternoon stack - only a few extra calories and so much flavor. Last night for dessert, we had parfaits with sugar free vanilla pudding, sliced strawberries, and half a slice of sugar free angel food cake (120 cals total) and it was SO satisfying.

I like them cooked into oatmeal, pureed into frozen yogurt recipes (peach strawberry was amazing), marinated with a little white wine and maybe a little splenda and served over angel food cake. They make an amazing crepe filling, a great topping for pancakes, and basically are just awesome.

Strawberries! I'm just finishing up a bunch I got on sale. I've mostly been having them on my cereal or mixed into some cottage cheese (with a sprinkle of sugar to make them juicier).

I eat them sliced on cereal, by themselves, but lately I've been eating them with a low fat WW recipe, Creamy Marshmallow Fruit Dip, that is so good!

MMMMMMMmmmmmmm.....

balsamic vinegar? Never considered it...until now!

I love them with a touch of whipped cream (low-fat, of course!)

I won't tell you my secret--it's not very low fat or low cal......okay, I will. You take your strawberry and dip it in sour cream and then roll it in brown sugar. (or you can mix the brown sugar and sour cream together and dip). A little goes a long way and it is super yummy!

I love strawberries as well.

I am a big nibbler. I just grab a couple a few times a day from the fridge and eat them as is. No guilt whatsoever.

I also eat them sliced thinly in a great salad that I make with baby spinach, mango, red onions, romaine and yes - a bit of balsamic vinegar. Delish.

I remember making a salad once that sounded like that. Spinach, strawberries, smoked Gouda (I've seen light Gouda in the stores), and a lime-vinegarette. I don't remember all the details, but I remember it was good.

I think I've mentioned this before, but my favourite lunch salad at the moment is baby spinach, sliced strawberries, avocado, 1/8 oz pecans, 1/8 oz romano cheese with balsamic vinegarette. It's *soooooo* good!

Oh my gosh, I do that too. I made a wonderful salad last week. Romaine lettuce, sliced strawberries, sliced avocado, chopped apples, sweet red pepper, diced chicken breast, onions and a sprinkle of chopped walnuts. I found a light version of asian toasted sesame dressing and I mixed that with fat-free raspberry pecan dressing and that was one of the best salads I've ever eaten.

OH....I can not wait until the Oregon Strawberries are in season. We have, hands down, the BEST strawberries in the world. And I have lived lots of places.

I am pretty much just a straight berry kind of gal, although shortcake isnt bad either.

I love my berries! I like to eat them plain, in smoothies (I usually keep a bag of frozen berries in the freezer for those), on salad. YUM! On the weekends I usually make whole wheat flax berry pancakes for breakfast, topped with unsweetened applesauce and sliced strawberries there's no need for sugary syrup.
