Thinking of cutting it all off!!! at 47 i feel like all i do is wear it in a ponytail so i did the try a hair style on makeover and think i might highlight it and cut...yes no?? does it make me look older???/
I LOVE that!
it's such freedom to cut it off!! I did it when I turned 40.. now at 43.. it's pretty long again.. and it will probably get cut again..
I say go for it.. you will feel totally different and it will give you a sassy little feeling..
looks very cool.

I agree with the majority here, I think this cut makes you look years younger. Not that you look old to begin with!
Maybe instead of an all over color you could do some streaks for some depth.
All in all, I think it looks great!
And I bet you feel like a million bucks when its done.
I really like the length you chose, and the shape. I'm just awful when it comes to color, though, so I won't weigh in there. But I think the style you chose makes you look younger and lighter, like there's less worry with less hair or something ....? Not sure I'm making sense.
I love the cut and the color (of course, I may be biased, since that's just about what my hair looks like!). I am all thumbs when it comes to styling my hair, but, with this cut, it's very easy. You can use velcro rollers and it comes out looking good every time. Good luck!!
It's adorable. Just a thought, have you considered reds? I also have to admit this is just a personal bias, because once I tried red tones, I've become addicted. I've tried everything from strawberry blonde to auburn, and loved them all, so of course my first thought, wow looks great, but it'd look even better in red tones. And I agree it does take years off.
