LA Weight Loss - Question on Recipes

I'm new to LAWL, started a week ago today. Just found this board and am really excited for the information and support, you guys seem like really great people. I also can't wait to try some of the recipes. It is my understanding that a portion size on one plan is not the same on another plan. I am on the blue plan, so some of my portions are quite a bit smaller than other plans, at least that is the general impression I get. When making a recipe how do you account for this? Some of the recipes say 1P/1V/1S, how would that affect my portions? Thank you in advance for any answers on this.

For the most part, portion sizes will be the same. However, you may need to adjust the amount of meat (protein) you add to each recipe. Protein portion sizes do differ depending on your plan.

I'm on gold so most of my meat portions like chicken are 5ozs cooked, fish are 4 ozs uncooked, steak is 4 ozs uncooked etc. The recipes in the LAWL cookbook have two portions sizes listed in the ingredients.. one will say 6oz or 8ozs chicken according to plan and you make it based on your alloted sizes.. hope this helps.. the books are the only ones I know that use the two options.. recipes on this thread sometimes say on Red plan or you can just omit a bit if you need to.

I dont know what the color plans you mention are?? I joined March 28th, and I've never heard of that. I just know im in the weight loss part of my plan. Is this something that varies in different states?

The color of your plan would be the color of your book.

ahh I see, they never mentioned anything about colors to me! Anyhow, I suppose I am on the Purple plan then. thanks!
