Default New here!!

I have been on here a few times in the past week reading some of these threads and I have definitely liked what i have seen. I am 22 and a full time nursing student and part time waitress. I need to lose some weight. I'm so busy though and always have a hard time trying to find time to workout. I just received the shapely secrets workout, today was the first day I did it. I have been trying to find time to do my aerobic exercises, I fit it in when I can. But I'm going to be graduating school in a year and I feel like I need to practice what a preach. I am going to be telling all sorts of patients that they need to get healthier and I want to be a positive role model for them. I definitely need some encouragement and some helpful hints. The only thing I have problem with is finding healthy quick meals, cause I am finding that with my schedule I always end up having to eat out. I HATE it!!!

When you eat out AVOID cream soups, gravies and anything fried and NO desert. It might be helpful to get a book that gives you calorie counts, you can get one that lists fast foods and restaurants, in addition many restaraunts are on the internet and give calorie counts.

Welcome!! I am 22 too and a nursing student. However, I work from home as I have a 2 yr old toddler who always must be entertained. I have a membership to a local gym, but have trouble finding time to fit a good workout in. How was the shapely secrets video? Worth recommending? Anywho, I hope you put aside some time for yourself, in between all your daily activities. It can be difficult, but we're all here to motivate!

thanks for all the positive comments...i'm not sure about shapely secrets yet. I can feel it working the muscles, but i'm sure you should put some cardio in with it. I'll let you know in a couple weeks if it really works!
