Yesterday I made some healthier choices while eating out. My mum and dad wanted to go to Harvey's (burger place) while we were out shopping.

I had a plain burger with tomatoes and I noticed that they offer different sides other than fries and a soft drink so I had a bottled water and a side salad instead with balsamic vinegar dressing. And they gave me 2 packets of dressing so I handed them one back. I packet was more than enough.

Also while watching a movie last night DH ate dill pickle chips (my favorite ) and I decided to hav some watermelon instead

Good for you Mauvaisroux! Besides, you can always kiss DH and taste the chips without getting the calories and fat!

This AM, I packed up all my too big clothes and moved them to the basement. I also took all my LITTLE clothes, stuff I haven't fit into for years out of the basement and put in the hall closet so I have more stuff to aim for.

Tiki.

Mmmmm watermelon. We are just swimming in fruit at our house. Everything is so cheap and in season right now.

I ate horribly on Friday night! There's a restaurant called Roscoe's Chicken & Waffles (fried chicken & waffles together for dinner) here in L.A. and I had a plate full of it! Sounds like a weird combination, but it is SO FREAKIN' GOOD! Anyway, I spent the whole weekend making up for it by hiking 6 miles on Saturday (1 hr 40 min total) with some friends and went solo again today and ran up that mountain in under an hour! Trail running and hiking are my new addiction! Every time I want to sit around and snack, I head for the great outdoors...

PB, we have a Roscoe's chicken and waffles here in Detroit. I've never been and don't plan to. It sounds too much like the Waffle House in Tennessee and I LOVE their food.

Tani, I just finished eating watermelon. I also have apples, strawberries and blueberries in the fridge. I LOVE summer!

Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles - I saw that in a movie years ago called Tapeheads! I thought they made that up and now I find out that it really exists!

Yes ladies, Roscoe's exist and it's DELICIOUS! If you don't want to stray away from your diet, then STAY AWAY!!! You have been warned -- each plate must be 2,000 calories easily!!! I can't believe I even had the nerve to order a large lemonade/punch! UGH. But what's done is done. I'll fill up on fruit tomorrow. All this talk about it is making me crave it!

THAT my friend is called DETERMINATION...or motivation or resilience! hahahha
