Default Welcome

Welcome Lili - I am 58, and fairly new here too! Lots of support forums, and some really great people. It so helps to have someone to come to that understands what you are going through.

Stay positive

Jude

Hi Jude and Lili, how great that you found this forum. There are several great threads and finding support is in everyone of them. I participate in the Challenge thread but there are several. Welcome and test out some of the threads until you find comfortable with one or some of them!

Default New returnieeee

Hi Lil

I'm Nancy, 68 year old, and also had gastric bypass almost 5 year ago. I went from 301# down to 187# in a year and half but then started gaining. I have gained back 32#. Unfortunately its SOOO easy to eat the wrong foods. The junk stuff goes down way too easy.

I have tried 3FC before but seem to have trouble sticking to any diet. ( and I've tried a lot). Hope this time I can keep with it.

Nancy

I started a 21 day challenge yesterday. Just walking but I really need to change some habits. Bad habits are my problem.

Marie, i love your Yoda figure and saying.

Hi Lily, I am real new, just joined last week! I had a lap band put in 2 years ago and went from 287 to 210 but I also gained weight back and knew if I didn't do something about it I would be back to the bad beginning. Unfortunately when we get these procedures we think we are home free but as you say it is so easy to put the lbs back on once you figure out how it works! I am 232 having lost 5 lbs last week and am trying to get under 200, I was so close at 210 lbs but then I went the other way I haven't been under 200 in YEARS. I am 58. I hope to be a decent weight by the time I go 60. At our age weight comes off more slowly and it is so easy to gain, take care hun

Hi. lili777. I'm new too at 51. Joined here to help me enter the maintenance phase. Loosing weight was a long slow, but steady, slog.
