Default Oprah's Boot Camp

Although the boot camp never seemed to really take off, I am going to try anyway. I started today and I am basically following the South Beach diet but adding in two fruits a day as well as counting calories and limiting my intake to 1500 a day. I did my workout this morning, 15 minutes on the elliptical and 15 minutes on the treadmill. I really pushed myself too. It was the best workout I have ever had. I am going to keep you guys updated on my efforts. If anyone would like to join, please feel free. I would love a buddy!
My name is Jaime. I am 24 years old, married and I have a beautiful 1 year old son. Finding the time to exercise is really going to be difficult because I have to work around my husband's schedule. I shouldn't have an excuse though. I have a gym to go to free of charge that is within walking distance from my house. Wish me luck!

oprah's boot camp was a three month program that consisted of a diet and exercise regimine. The diet basically was
1) no refined carbs...aka "white stuff"
2) no grain based carbs for the first month...no breads, cereals ect
3) unlimited green stuff, moderate comsumption of lean proteins, furit and dairy
4) no alcohol
5) no eating after 7 pm

The exercise portion consisted of 8 sessions a week which included cardio and strength training. Oprah's website outlines the program as well as teh strength training and a circuit workout that is recommended.

I hope this helps Check out Oprah.com for more details.

Default The bootcamp

It works, I've lost 40 lbs so far in 6 months, following Bob Greene and Oprah's plan. E-mail me if you want more info.
